TITLE: CT Technician / Computed Tomography Technologist

• The state requires a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• Must have certification to perform Mammography or be willing to obtain it within 12 months of being hired. ***

Hours and potential compensation:
• This is a full-time position of 36 hours per week, working 4 shifts of 9 hours each. There will be rotating on-call duties.
• The salary range is between $63,400 and $95,000, along with comprehensive benefits and an offered relocation/sign-on package. What you’ll be doing:
• As a highly skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, you will operate specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the human anatomy, aiding radiologists in diagnosing a wide range of diseases and disorders.
• You will also assist physicians and Radiologists in performing examinations, administering/providing contrast media, and offering assistance during procedures as required.
• Your responsibilities will include introducing yourself to patients, verifying physician orders, explaining the examination process, positioning patients for exams, and conducting procedures following established protocols.
• You will operate CT equipment properly, adhering to radiation protection and safety measures.
• You will promptly inform the Modality Lead, Imaging Medical Director, or direct supervisor of any unusual concerns, situations, or conditions related to staff, patients, and physicians.
• Other duties involve restocking and cleaning rooms daily, maintaining sufficient inventory of required supplies, completing necessary paperwork, correctly identifying exams for PACS storage and review, participating in quality control and quality assurance studies, and assisting the supervising radiologist with administrative tasks.
• You will prioritize radiation safety principles.
