Requirements:
•Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with preference given to those with CT registry (ARRT) as well.
•Must hold a Radiologic License from the Ohio Department of Health.
•BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
Hours and Compensation:
•Full-time position with rotating shifts between 7am and 7pm, including weekends and holidays. Shifts can be 8 hours, 10 hours, or 12 hours in duration.
•Hourly pay range is $26.89 to $38.99, depending on experience.
•Comprehensive benefits package, including a sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities:
•Perform CT procedures to generate diagnostic images and provide patient care and education during the procedures.
•Ensure proper use of imaging equipment, accessories, and contrast agents during routine and emergent CT procedures. Adhere to radiation safety standards and department protocols.
•Prepare patients and exam rooms for imaging procedures, assist patients with appropriate dress, and create a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Provide patient and family education related to procedures.
•Maintain accurate records, both manual and computerized, of patients, department activities, and hospital records. Perform data entry and clerical tasks as necessary. Take responsibility for ordering and stocking department supplies.
•Perform routine equipment quality control according to department protocols, and carry out cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks. Promptly report any malfunctions to the appropriate person or department.
•Provide backup coverage for general Radiology procedures and be available to take call outside of regular working hours.
