Qualifications:
• Required: Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Preferred: CT registry (ARRT).
• Required: Radiologic License from the Ohio Department of Health.
• Required: BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
 
Hours and Compensation:
• This is a full-time position on the second shift.
• Hourly pay range is $29-$42, depending on experience. An additional $3.25 per hour is provided for shift differential.
• A comprehensive benefits package, including a sign-on bonus, is available.
 
Responsibilities:
• Perform CT procedures to capture diagnostic images. Provide patient care and education that are relevant to procedures.
• Execute routine and emergent CT procedures using imaging equipment, associated accessories, and contrast agents. Adhere to radiation safety standards and department protocols.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for imaging procedures, assisting patients with appropriate attire. Create a comfortable, friendly, and secure environment for all patients. Provide relevant education to patients and their families regarding imaging procedures.
• Maintain manual and computerized records for patients, the department, and the hospital. Carry out necessary data entry and clerical tasks. Responsible for the procurement and restocking of department supplies.
• Perform and document equipment quality control in line with department protocols. Perform regular cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks. Identify and report any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel or department.
• Provide backup coverage for general Radiology procedures and be available for on-call duties outside of regular working hours.
