Custom Mechanical Robotic Automation Machine Builder

  • Minimum of five years' experience in custom machine building (not repetitive)
  • Proficient in reading mechanical engineering drawings for at least two years
  • Hourly pay: $30 to $40 (exceptionally qualified candidates earn $40 per hour)
  • Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder
  • No remote work; full-time position
  • Permanent W-2 employee with full benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the construction of custom automation machines
  • Proficiently reading and interpreting mechanical engineering drawings
  • Building custom machines from the ground up
  • Working with pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components
  • Working independently or collaborating with a team, depending on the project
  • Occasional travel within southeastern Wisconsin

Candidates who have experience building the same machine repeatedly are not suitable for this position. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of five years' experience in custom machine building (not repetitive)
  • At least two years' experience reading mechanical engineering drawings
  • Demonstrate a stable work history
  • Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder
  • Residence within a 45-minute drive of the Waukesha area
