Degreed Robotic Automation Technician

  • An engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering or a related field is required for consideration
  • Compensation is up to $81,000
  • Candidates must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder

This employee-oriented, custom automation engineering design company seeks to hire a full-time, permanent Robotic Automation Technician. The company is involved in both custom machine building from scratch and producing standard products sold internationally. With a small engineering team of six, each engineer can make a significant impact, and the company values internal advancement.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
  • Interpreting and comprehending engineering drawings and documents
  • Troubleshooting robotic and automation equipment
  • Programming robotic automation equipment and systems
  • Programming and integrating vision systems
  • Interpreting and comprehending engineering drawings and documents
  • Documenting as required
  • Participating in troubleshooting and testing
  • Supervising robotic equipment assemblers
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications and experience in order to be considered:
  • An engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering or a related field
  • Three or more years of experience with manufacturing equipment and robotic automation or Programmable Logic Controls
  • Two or more years of experience troubleshooting robotic automation
  • Two or more years of experience in programming robotic automation equipment and systems
  • Two or more years of experience in programming and integrating vision systems
  • Two or more years of experience in initial setup and integration of robotic automated equipment
  • Two or more years of experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs
  • Two or more years of experience utilizing Fronius or SKS for weld equipment integration
  • Experience interpreting and comprehending engineering drawings and documents
  • A consistent and stable work history
  • Must be a US citizen or green card holder
  • Must reside within a 45-minute drive of the Brown Deer area
