Location: Florence, KY

The Supply Chain Analyst position is available with a premier manufacturer in the Northern KY area. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the schedule of assigned plant assets and maintaining customer inventory levels. This involves analyzing customer forecasts and historical data, optimizing asset utilization, and monitoring capacity. Additionally, you will establish and maintain inventory levels for plant assets and customer accounts, provide production order quantities, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment. Other responsibilities include conducting sessions with schedulers, providing feedback to Customer Service, and generating departmental KPI reports. This position may also require providing coverage for other planning positions when needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Utilize customer forecasts, historical production, and shipment data to develop production plans.
  • Analyze performance data and demand patterns to optimize asset utilization and monitor capacity.
  • Establish and maintain inventory levels and run sizes for plant assets to ensure profitability and service.
  • Establish and maintain inventory levels for assigned customer accounts and items.
  • Provide factory order quantities for production runs.
  • Establish communication with Customer Service and provide demand and inventory information.
  • Conduct planning and customer needs sessions with schedulers.
  • Establish communication with internal and external stakeholders on demand patterns, forecast adjustments, and inventory status.
  • Prepare departmental KPI reporting.
  • Provide back-up coverage for other planning positions.

Must Have's:

  1. Experience as a Demand Planner, Production Planner, or Demand Analyst in a manufacturing environment.
  2. Experience in Customer Forecasting.
  3. Analytical mindset with proficiency in using data and analytics for forecasting and inventory planning.
  4. Inventory management experience.
  5. Comfortable with a customer-facing role and professional interaction with customers and internal stakeholders.
  6. Degree preferred.
