Location: Wheat Ridge, Colorado | Job Type: Part Time - Approximately 15 hours per week.
Compensation Range: $35-50 per hour DOE.

We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Kitchen Designer to join our growing team in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The Opportunity

This position focuses on creating customized and stylish kitchen spaces that are tailored to meet each client's unique needs, preferences, and lifestyle. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and installation teams to ensure that designs are flawlessly executed with creativity and precision.


What You'll Do

As a Kitchen Designer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting with clients to understand their vision, goals, and lifestyle needs

  • Developing layout plans, 2D/3D renderings, and finish schedules using design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, 20/20, or Compusoft Winner

  • Creating detailed cabinetry and installation plans, including elevations and material specifications

  • Preparing and presenting design proposals, material samples, and pricing quotes

  • Coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project timeline

  • Overseeing projects from design through installation, ensuring accuracy, quality, and client satisfaction

  • Maintaining organized project files, documentation, and ongoing communication with all stakeholders


What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience using CAD software such as Revit, AutoCAD, 20/20, or Compusoft Winner (experience with these programs is a plus)

  • Prior experience in kitchen design and a strong understanding of space planning and cabinetry layout

  • 2+ years in a sales or client-facing design environment

  • Knowledge of cabinetmaking, finishes, materials, and general construction practices

  • Strong ability to read architectural plans and create detailed technical drawings

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills

  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills

  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects

  • Respect for diverse client preferences, budgets, and design styles


Preferred (Not Required)

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field

  • Experience working with the metric system

  • Familiarity with the details and nuances of kitchen construction


Compensation

Hourly pay between $35-50 per hour, based on performance and experience. There is potential for higher compensation for the ideal candidate. This position is ideal for motivated designers who enjoy the satisfaction of client-focused sales and creative freedom.
