Qualifications:
• Must have an Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree.
• RHIT Certification is required.
• Registration with the American Health Information Management Association is necessary.
Hours and compensation:
• This is a full-time position.
• Salary range is $74K-$85K based on experience.
• Full benefit package offered.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the Health Information Management department to achieve organizational objectives.
• Develop and implement goals, plans, and standards for the department.
• Oversee department operations to ensure performance and quality control.
• Manage staffing activities and provide education initiatives for employees.
• Prepare and monitor departmental budgets and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate and direct internal/external audits.
• Foster professional growth within the department.
• Maintain focus on the important role of Health Information Management in the continuum of care.
