Business Development Director
Our client is seeking a Business Development Director in Stamford, CT. They are a leading global company that specializes in providing solutions to drive measurable results for their clients worldwide. Their expertise lies in sales incentives, employee engagement, channel engagement, and customer engagement.
The Business Development Director will be an individual contributor responsible for identifying potential business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and gaining a deep understanding of their critical business strategies. They will then collaborate with a team of subject matter experts to develop and execute customized solutions that help clients achieve their business objectives.
- Must be currently located in Stamford, CT as this is a hybrid role that requires both office and field work.
- Minimum seven years of direct B2B sales experience, preferably with F500 companies. No more than three jobs in the past ten years.
- Proven track record of new business development in selling marketing solutions or professional business services.
- Experience in high-value sales ($250k+ per sale) and familiarity with diverse sales cycles (three to six to twelve months).
- Compensation structured through highly leveraged commissions and bonuses.
- A four-year college degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products is required, with additional proficiency in web, SaaS, and mobile applications considered a plus.
The base salary for this position is $135K with additional earning potential through commissions. The expected total compensation for the first year is $175K-$225K.
