Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and strategic Business Development Director to lead revenue growth and client engagement in the Oil & Gas industry. This is a great opportunity for a sales leader with expertise in consultative selling, a proactive mindset, and a track record of closing complex service-focused deals.

Responsibilities

  • Generate sales revenue from engineering and technology services for clients in the assigned region.
  • Travel regionally and nationally to pursue and secure target accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Oil & Gas customers (Upstream/Downstream).
  • Create and deliver tailored sales presentations to meet client needs.
  • Identify and develop sales opportunities using a consultative, value-focused approach.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure smooth transitions to proposal and technical delivery teams.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified sales opportunities to support ongoing growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align offerings with client objectives.
  • Develop account strategies and build long-term relationships with prospective clients.
  • Represent the organization as a strategic partner for engineering excellence and digital innovation.

Qualifications

  • 12-15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in the Oil & Gas industry and 3+ years in a similar business development role.
  • Deep understanding of the Upstream/Downstream segments in the Oil & Gas industry, with a proven track record in engineering service sales.
  • Demonstrated success in selling service-based, brownfield project execution contracts. Experience in winning high-value, non-product-based deals.
  • Ability to engage with C-level stakeholders and establish strong strategic relationships.
  • Experience in selling complex solutions through a collaborative, value-driven process.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver impactful presentations.
  • Understanding of business drivers, metrics, and organizational behavior to influence client priorities.
  • Highly organized, able to multitask, and effective in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Minimum Requirements

  • Proven experience in selling engineering services to Oil & Gas operators (Upstream/Downstream).
  • Successful track record in brownfield project execution bids.
  • Familiarity with digital services, including Control & Automation, Instrumentation, Data Analytics, and System Integration, is a plus.
  • Exposure to onsite/offshore and global delivery models is highly preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively as needed.
