Director of Business Development (Railroad Industry)

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Devise and implement strategic plans to drive business growth in the railroad industry.

  • Create and deliver persuasive business proposals, presentations, and contracts to potential clients.
  • Track sales performance and provide detailed reports and insights to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry-specific events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales and business development, specifically within the railroad industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the railroad industry and its key players.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client and industry relationships.
  • Strong leadership skills with prior experience in managing sales teams.
  • Expertise in strategic planning and execution.
