Position: Director of Business Development (Telecommunications)

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and accomplished Director of Business Development to lead our client's initiatives in the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales and business development background, along with a successful track record in the telecom sector.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance business expansion within the telecommunications industry.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities by building relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Expand and maintain a wide network of industry contacts to strengthen strategic alliances and business prospects.
  • Provide guidance to the sales team in creating and implementing successful sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure exceptional service quality delivery to clients.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors' activities to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Create and present compelling business proposals, presentations, and contracts to prospective clients.
  • Oversee sales performance, prepare detailed reports, and provide insights to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote services and enhance brand recognition.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in sales and business development, specifically within the telecommunications industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • In-depth understanding of the telecommunications industry and its major players.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client and industry relationships.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing sales teams.
  • Strategic planning and execution expertise.
