Distribution Manager
Summary
Join us as the Distribution Manager at our El Paso, TX location, where you will lead warehouse and delivery operations. Your role will be vital in strategic planning, maximizing efficiency, controlling costs, and ensuring inventory accuracy while maintaining safety compliance and industry standards. Through your expertise, you will provide guidance to a dedicated team and foster collaboration with logistics partners to implement technological advancements and continuous improvement initiatives. Your contributions will result in seamless coordination across departments and corporate teams, ultimately enhancing the efficiency and success of our supply chain.
In this role, you will
- Create and execute distribution strategies that align with company objectives.
- Lead and manage daily operations of the warehouse and delivery for optimal efficiency and service.
- Act as a liaison with commercial partners to drive operational excellence.
- Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions as required.
- Analyze distribution costs to identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
- Oversee inventory control to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Recruit, train, and develop teams in the warehouse and delivery departments.
- Promote safety, compliance, budget management, and continuous improvement.
What you bring to the role
- At least five years of relevant experience
- Three to five years of previous experience in distribution, transportation, and/or warehouse management or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent preferred
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of five years of previous management and operations experience
- Ability to regularly operate a motor vehicle
- Current state driver's license
- Preferred Spanish bilingual abilities
