We are seeking a Director of Global Learning & Development to spearhead cutting-edge training strategies that empower employees at all levels, both technically and as leaders. As part of this role, you will shape impactful learning initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders both domestically and globally to elevate organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
· Create and execute a global learning strategy that aligns with business objectives and company values.
· Design innovative programs to enhance employee engagement, retention, and performance.
· Collaborate with senior leadership to pinpoint key learning priorities and drive growth throughout the company.
Program Development & Training Delivery
· Oversee the creation of training programs on a domestic and global scale, including leadership development, technical skills, and compliance training.
· Utilize a variety of learning methods such as in-person workshops, e-learning, blended learning, and on-the-job training.
· Ensure training programs are inclusive and culturally relevant for a diverse workforce.
· Leverage advanced learning technologies, such as LMS platforms, gamification, simulations, and virtual reality, to enhance engagement.
Performance & Impact Measurement
· Conduct skill assessments to identify training needs and gaps.
· Establish clear metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and return on investment.
· Analyze learning data and offer actionable insights to continuously enhance programs.
· Provide progress and impact reports to senior leadership.
Global Collaboration & Team Leadership
· Collaborate with regional HR leaders and business units to ensure consistent implementation of training initiatives.
· Forge relationships with external training vendors and consultants to enhance program offerings.
Compliance & Best Practices
· Ensure all training programs adhere to legal and regulatory requirements in various regions.
· Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in learning and development.
· Regularly update training materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field preferred.
· Minimum of 10 years experience in Learning & Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
· Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing training programs, including for hourly employees.
· Outstanding leadership, communication, and strategic thinking abilities.
· Proficiency in LMS platforms, e-learning tools, and learning technologies.
· Experience conducting training sessions for groups of various sizes, from small to large.
· Willingness to travel internationally as required.
