District Operations Manager / Logistics

Location: Grass Valley, CA

Salary: $110,000 to $130,000

The District Operations Manager / Logistics is responsible for managing the day-to-day collection operations of a single site with multiple Lines of Business. They will establish and maintain performance and productivity metrics and cost management processes and will be accountable for the P&L. This role will oversee Route Managers and provide daily support to drivers to ensure safety, service, and savings. The Manager will also ensure compliance with Company, OSHA, and other standards and regulations, and conduct thorough investigations for all injuries and incidents. They will be responsible for personnel management, including selecting, coaching, disciplining, and training employees, as well as evaluating employee performance. Additionally, the Manager will develop and implement short-term and long-term goals in collaboration with senior management and participate in P&L reviews to ensure budget compliance. They will also engage with local agencies to maintain customer satisfaction, improve efficiency, and negotiate contracts. The ideal candidate for this role will have supervisory and/or P&L experience and at least two years of relevant work experience. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.

Education: Associate's degree, High school diploma or GED and 2 years of relevant work experience.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Seeking candidates with experience in Telecom, Rail, Mining, Quarry, or Oil & Gas industries. The ideal candidate must have experience managing people and budgets, specifically with P&L responsibility. They should also have experience in operations, customer service, community relations, health and safety, financial and human resource functions, as well as experience with implementing safety programs, managing budgets, and resolving labor relations issues. This candidate will also be involved in community outreach efforts to promote the company and grow the site business.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
