Location: Dallas, TX

Our client is a globally recognized provider of information management services with facilities in major cities across the country. They are currently seeking a highly motivated Document Management Sales Representative to sell their comprehensive suite of document solutions software, outsourced hosting, BPO, and workflow solutions.

Compensation

Base salary plus commission, with potential earnings of $150,000 in the first year.

The Position:

The primary responsibility of this role is to maximize sales in the information management industry by acquiring new customers and nurturing existing relationships. Key responsibilities include:

  • Attaining targeted sales goals within assigned territory or accounts by engaging with established customers and developing new prospects.
  • Generating leads and maintaining a robust pipeline of potential customers.
  • Qualifying, researching, tracking, and developing leads into viable business opportunities.
  • Effectively communicating the value proposition to individuals at various organizational levels.
  • Creating compelling business cases, proposals, and presentations for sales opportunities.
  • Negotiating agreement terms and closing sales deals.
  • Participating in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to enhance company visibility within the industry and among prospective customers.
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of industry trends, relevant technologies, competitive offerings, and customer requirements while providing valuable feedback to the company.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of consultative sales experience, preferably in an enterprise or large account sales environment, selling document management software or SaaS solutions.
  • A strong "hunter" mentality, with the ability to identify and pursue new account opportunities, as well as upsell within existing accounts.
  • Previous experience selling document imaging or related applications such as EDM, content management, or BPM is advantageous.
  • Experience selling outsourced services in a SaaS or cloud-based model is also a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial atmosphere characterized by constant change.
  • Technical awareness and the ability to engage in confident conversations with IT personnel.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the capability to lead cross-functional teams towards achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to understand and map processes, including document and information flows across different departments.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales quotas in previous positions.
  • Exceptional business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of how businesses operate across various functional areas.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational qualification.
