Product Engineer Job Description

We have partnered with a leader in a very specialized industry to find a Product Engineer for their team.

Job Description:

• The role will involve product development and the utilization of roller bearings, sleeve bearings, and hydraulic bearings.
• You will have professional interactions with customers.
• You will evaluate power transmission components and identify potential applications for creating new product groups.
• You will write clear and accurate technical descriptions for product sales.

Key Abilities:

• A strong foundation in mechanical engineering or an applied engineering role is required. You must understand technical requirements and loading parameters.
• You should have a deep understanding of standard mechanical power transmission components and their applications.
• Excellent written communication skills are essential, as you will be creating product literature for a range of users.
• You need to be proficient in using, reading, and evaluating 2D drawings and 3D part models using Solidworks or Fusion-360.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, along with 2-5 years of experience in product development or mechanical engineering in a manufacturing environment.
