Plant Safety Supervisor

Requirements: A technical degree in a relevant field, preferably a Bachelor of Science, and a minimum of (5) years of experience in industrial safety and environmental management, including direct oversight of EHS professionals.
We are seeking an individual with a proven track record of implementing effective safety and environmental programs in a heavy manufacturing setting. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our EHS program at a large metals manufacturing facility, while also managing a dedicated EHS Department.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to effectively lead an EHS program in a fast-paced environment. They will also possess strong coaching and mentoring skills, as well as experience utilizing key performance indicators to drive results. A background in manufacturing sectors such as aerospace, foundries, automotive, or smelter operations is highly desirable.
Technical expertise in EHS management systems, workers compensation, general environmental compliance, and operational safety, coupled with a results-driven mindset, are essential for success in this role.
