Our client is a reputable law firm in search of a seasoned Senior Care and Inheritance Lawyer to join their team in Melville, NY. The ideal candidate will have expertise in estate planning, trust administration, estate administration, elder law, and related tax matters. This full-time position offers the chance to collaborate with a supportive team and establish lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance to clients on estate planning, preparing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives
• Advise clients on wealth transfer strategies, charitable giving, and tax planning
• Manage trusts and estates, including probate proceedings, court filings, and litigation when needed
• Draft, review, and interpret complex estate planning documents and trust agreements
• Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to implement comprehensive estate plans
• Handle elder law matters such as Medicaid planning and applications
• Maintain client relationships and deliver exceptional service

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility)
• 3+ years of experience in trust and estate planning and administration
• Thorough knowledge of estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax law
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced setting
• Strong interpersonal skills and client-centric approach

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary range of $135,000-$150,000 plus bonus
