Electrical Controls Engineer with Siemens or Parker-Hannifin PLC experience

  • An Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering degree; a minimum of two years of experience in Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Parker-Hannifin controls engineering; and knowledge of web handling are all mandatory requirements for consideration

Key responsibilities for the successful candidate include:
  • Designing and developing electrical controls and control panels for web handling control systems
  • Programming PLCs, HMIs, and drives
  • Supervising the construction of control panels
  • Acting as the project manager throughout the project lifecycle
  • Commissioning control systems at client sites
  • Ensuring project completion within budget and timelines
  • Creating electrical schematics
  • Engaging with customers on an as-needed basis
  • Delivering presentations to stakeholders of various levels
  • Contributing to budgeting initiatives
  • Being involved in cutting-edge technology, including robotic programming and factory automation
  • Traveling for approximately four to six weeks per year
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering
  • At least two years of experience in Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Parker-Hannifin controls engineering
  • A minimum of two years of HMI experience
  • At least two years of web handling experience
  • Flexible for domestic travel lasting four to six weeks annually
  • A solid employment history
  • A US citizen or a holder of a valid Green Card
  • Residence within a 45-minute commute to Appleton
