About the Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will leverage your expertise to design cutting-edge electrical engineering concepts that align with our clients' vision for each project. With a solid understanding of the consulting engineering process and contractual documents, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional results.

Your Responsibilities

  • Determine the scope of assigned projects and create electrical system designs using software programs
  • Create cost-effective system layouts, quantities/sizes, and specifications while ensuring code compliance
  • Prepare and coordinate BIM drawings with other disciplines throughout all project phases
  • Perform construction administration tasks, including site observations and shop drawing review
  • Define project scope accurately and manage any potential scope variations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders
  • Mentor less experienced electrical designers
  • Handle miscellaneous duties as assigned

Your Qualifications

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and based in Atlanta, Georgia
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering design of commercial buildings, preferably in aviation, higher education, healthcare, hospitality, entertainment, or governmental facilities
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience coordinating with multi-discipline engineering teams
  • Experience with various project deliverable methods, such as design-build and design-bid-construct
  • Knowledge of local, state, and national codes and regulations
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP and other engineering software programs
  • Strong technical and computer skills, including Microsoft O365 and internet applications
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to prepare original specifications and evaluate engineering options
  • Familiarity with cost-containment approaches

Physical Requirements
