Electrical Engineering Building Construction Design Manager
- Minimum of two years of experience in electrical design for building construction
- Holds an electrical engineering degree or possesses a valid Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician license

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Building Construction Design Manager at a thriving company that specializes in electrical and automation products. Our department is projected to double in size within the next five years, and we utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and Revit. Your responsibilities in this role will encompass:
- Supervising and expanding a small team of drafters and designers
- Developing department policies and procedures to support department growth
- Contributing to the overall company expansion
- Communicating effectively with employees, vendors, and customers
- Providing training and motivation to team members
- Managing budgetary requirements
- Creating and presenting project proposals
- Evaluating engineering designs for electrical construction projects
The ideal candidate will possess one of the following backgrounds:
- A four-year electrical engineering degree with at least four years of experience in electrical engineering -or-
- A valid Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician license with a minimum of 15 years of on-field experience -or-
- A two-year electrical engineering degree with at least three years of electrical engineering experience, in addition to a valid Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician license
In addition, the successful candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of two years of experience in building electrical design
- Stable work history
- Must be a US citizen or possess a Green Card
- Residence within a 45-minute commute of the job location
