The position does not involve any travel. The responsibilities of the successful candidate include:

  • Meeting and communicating with vendors and customers in person or via written correspondence
  • Responding to incoming phone calls promptly
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance
  • Supporting and managing project workflow
  • Collaborating with customers, parts, and service teams to resolve problems
  • Creating work orders and invoices
  • Billing and invoicing customers
  • Assisting service managers as needed
  • Participating in service scheduling, if required
  • Handling Return Merchandise Authorizations
  • Participating in training for service employees
  • Providing training to others as necessary

The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of technical support or field service experience with expertise in hydraulics, drives, PLCs, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Over 4 years of experience in customer support
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Consistent employment history
  • Must be a US citizen or possess a green card
  • Reside within a 45-minute commute from Brown Deer
