Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with a preference for Master's degree.
•Must be a registered nurse in the state of Washington.
•A minimum of three years of experience in Employee Health is preferred.
Hours and Compensation:
•This is a full-time position with day shift hours starting at 6am.
•The salary range is between $45.68 and $61.48 per hour, depending on experience.
•We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including up to $5,000 in relocation assistance.
Responsibilities:
•Provide comprehensive employee and occupational health services for all healthcare locations, including ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal standards, implementing and managing employee safety and wellness programs, offering health education and guidance to employees, and maintaining necessary records and systems to support employee health programs.
•Document and maintain relevant health data on employees, notifying them of required activities such as fit testing, immunizations, and titers, ensuring timely completion and informing department leaders of any overdue items.
•Administer immunizations to staff.
•Ensure an adequate supply of necessary items for the service.
•Provide information for updating health and safety procedures, policies, and orders as requested.
•Monitor data for reporting to state and federal agencies.
•Follow up on incidents of employee injuries and exposures, making recommendations to prevent future occurrences, and counseling staff based on test reports.
•Collaborate with the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to develop strategies for maximizing employee productivity, health, and safety, with the aim of reducing disability claims, on-the-job injury claims, and absenteeism. Assist in establishing a return-to-work program for employee injuries.
•Support Human Resources in ADA discussions and provide recommendations.
•Serve as a resource on employee health and safety issues for management, staff, and providers.
•Ensure personal safety and the safety of others by adhering to safe work practices and policies, including security and safety, understanding of MSDS, equipment operation, infection control, fire safety, disaster response, safe lifting, and proper body mechanics.
•Comply with organizational policies, procedures, and labor agreements.
•Maintain courteous and efficient communication with team members and other support groups in line with the organization's values.
•Conduct oneself professionally and adhere to the organization's appearance standards while representing the organization.
•Handle additional assigned responsibilities according to organizational standards.
