About the Position
As our Employee Relations Manager, you will:
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees throughout our branches in Louisiana.
- Manage complex HR matters, such as investigations, terminations, and employee discipline, while building trust and offering hands-on assistance.
- Implement engagement initiatives to enhance workplace culture and promote collaboration.
- Serve as a valuable resource and relationship builder for managers who are experts in their fields but require guidance on HR processes, such as documentation and follow-through.

This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who is comfortable working onsite, occasional travel, and adapting to change in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field of study. Additional relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of education.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations (preferably as an Employee Relations Manager or Specialist, HR Business Partner, or Senior HR Generalist with significant employee relations responsibilities), including experience with investigations, terminations, coaching managers, and implementing engagement initiatives. 5+ years of experience required.
- Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal employment and labor laws. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a related management role.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with employees and managers at all levels.
- Highly organized with a commitment to follow-up and follow-through.
- A flexible, collaborative mindset, ready to handle change and work independently or as part of a team.
- Passion for fostering a culture of care, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- HRCI (PHR or SPHR) or SHRM (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) Certification is highly preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
