Engineering Manager, Electrical – Design & Project Oversight
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required, or 10-15 years of directly equivalent electrical engineering experience
- 15+ years of overall engineering experience, with at least 7 years in electrical design and 5 years in team/project management
- Maximum annual salary: $180,000
- Full-time, permanent W-2 employee with full benefits
- Occasional travel required for trade shows/conferences
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
- 100% onsite role (no remote work)
- Located in the McFarland, Wisconsin area

- The successful candidate will be a key decision-maker as part of the leadership team. In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage all engineering personnel and activities, including hiring, reviews, and team growth
- Oversee diverse engineering projects (ECNs, NPD, R&D), outsourced services, and customer technical support
- Ensure documentation and organization of engineering operational systems and improve design processes
- Provide hands-on support for design projects, technical documentation, and manufacturing tooling development
- Represent engineering at trade shows and conferences, providing technical and sales support
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or 10-15 years of equivalent electrical engineering experience (Master's degree preferred)
- 15+ years of mechanical or electrical engineering experience, with at least 7 years in design/new product development
- 5+ years of team management and project management experience, demonstrating the ability to inspire and execute plans
- Stable work history, excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; SolidWorks (CAD) knowledge and experience in specific industries preferred
