Environmental Specialist/Engineer specializing in wastewater and hazardous waste management required for a prominent chemical production plant in Sioux City, IA. A minimum of three years of environmental experience in the manufacturing or consulting field, coupled with a Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline, is mandatory.

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure adherence to facility environmental plans, including conducting inspections, sampling, and updating plans as necessary. Conducting environmental incident investigations and preparing related reports will also be part of the role's responsibilities. Collaborating closely with key personnel, the Environmental Specialist/Engineer will monitor daily environmental parameters to ensure compliance and provide guidance for facility projects in conjunction with the engineering team.

This position will report to the Environmental Manager at the Sioux City plant and play an integral role as a member of the expansive EHS Department.
