Maintenance Facilities Manager

Responsible for managing and supervising maintenance tasks on facilities and equipment. Performs complex repairs on buildings using various technical skills (e.g., carpentry, electrical, plumbing). Maintains production equipment to meet organization standards and minimize equipment downtime. Creates and implements preventive maintenance programs and procedures. Supervises mechanics/technicians responsible for equipment repairs and maintenance. Maintains inventory of operational supplies. Conducts regular inspections for necessary repairs and safety hazards. Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborates with the department and organization as a team member and performs any assigned duty to best serve the company:
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervises employees, including staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution.
- Oversees and maintains the warehouse, including repairing concrete floors, roll-up dock doors, and racks; replacing lights and light fixtures; replacing plumbing and fixtures; and installing, repairing, and texturing drywall. Services air conditioning units. Remodels and decorates rooms as needed; paints large and small areas.
- Coordinates with external building contractors.
- Maintains accurate records/files of work orders for preventive maintenance and monitors ammonia cooling systems.
- Repairs in-house vending machines as necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience: 4-6 Years
Two or more years of experience in each trade (i.e., carpentry, electrical, plumbing), five or more years of experience working on commercial heating and air conditioning units and refrigeration systems. Experience as a team lead or supervisor.
