Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program
  • One or more years of experience as an FNP
  • Current Texas licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
  • Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment, before independent patient care
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment

 

Hours and compensation:

  • Full-time position, Monday-Friday with 8-hour shifts
  • Salary range of $110K-$130K, with RVU bonus depending on experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package including a $1K CME allowance and a $5K sign-on bonus

 

Responsibilities:

  • Providing chronic and minor acute care to patients at the Rural Health Clinic under general supervision of a Physician
  • Practicing within established protocol per the requirements of the Rural Health Clinic Act
  • Participating in the development, execution, and periodic review of written policies governing the services provided at the clinic
  • Delivering patient care in accordance with established policies and adapting care based on patients' needs
  • Referring patients to specialized services when necessary
  • Maintaining electronic patient healthcare records in compliance with state and federal mandates
  • Promptly addressing critical test results and responding to patient calls or inquiries
  • Working collaboratively with clinic leadership to achieve meaningful use, quality, and DSRIP measures
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and maintaining CAQH profile
