Fanuc ABB Robotic Automation Electrical Technician

  • An engineering degree in the field of Robotic Automation, Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or a related degree is mandatory
  • Minimum of one year experience in constructing control panels, programming Programmable Logic Controls (PLC), programming Human Machine Interface (HMI), and programming robotic automation is required
  • Hourly wage ranges from $33 to $40, commensurate with experience
  • Applicants must be either a United States citizen or Green Card holder
  • This is an on-site position and remote work is not available
  • Position is full-time with permanent W-2 employment
  • Full benefits package available
  • Partial relocation assistance may be provided, but candidates must currently reside in Wisconsin or have connections to the state

The responsibilities of the successful applicant will include the following:
  • Collaborating with machine designers
  • Developing electrical schematics
  • Building control panels
  • Integrating state-of-the-art robots into existing equipment
  • Completing the installation of robotic equipment from start to finish
  • Programming PLCs, HMIs, Fanuc robots, and ABB robots
  • Prioritizing safety measures
  • Installing, initiating, troubleshooting, and commissioning robotic automation equipment
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications in order to qualify:
  • Education in the field of Robotic Automation, Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of one year experience in constructing control panels
  • Minimum of one year experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
  • Minimum of one year experience with Human Machine Interface (HMI)
  • Minimum of one year experience in robotic automation programming
  • Stable work history
  • United States citizenship or possession of a green card
  • Residence within a 45-minute commute
