This is a full-time opportunity for a Field Service Advisor – Electro-Mechanical Technical Support role at an established company in Brown Deer, WI. There is no travel required for this position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
- Meeting and communicating with various vendors and customers through verbal and written means.
- Being responsive to incoming phone calls.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
- Supporting and managing project workflow.
- Collaborating with customers, parts, and service teams to resolve issues.
- Creating work orders and invoices.
- Billing and invoicing customers.
- Assisting service managers as needed.
- Participating in service scheduling, if required.
- Handling Return Merchandise Authorizations.
- Participating in training sessions for service employees and providing training support as needed.
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- 4+ years of technical support or field service experience with hydraulics, drives, PLCs, mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering drawings.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- 4+ years of experience in supporting customers.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Stable work history.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or possess a Green Card.
- Residence located within a 45-minute radius.
