Semiconductor Field Technician II

We are currently seeking a Semiconductor Field Technician II to join our team in Hillsboro, OR. This role will primarily focus on supporting our semiconductor equipment customers, specifically with Steppers and Scanners. The position requires reporting to the assigned worksite 5 days a week and residing in close proximity to the assigned area.


Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, calibrate, and maintain semiconductor process equipment to minimize equipment downtime. Escalate advanced repairs to senior level technicians when necessary.
  • Monitor, inspect, and maintain semiconductor equipment to prevent and minimize malfunctions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activity and provide periodic reports.
  • Monitor stock level of service parts and equipment to ensure sufficient inventory for repair work.
  • Provide training and assistance to technicians and may offer basic instruction to customers.
  • Participate in ongoing technical training to expand expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of related work experience in an electromechanical field, such as a technician or engineer position in a semiconductor equipment company or technical role in engineering. Litho experience preferred; experience with high precision equipment helpful.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and compressed work weeks.
  • This position requires driving for company business and adherence to safety guidelines and policies.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds individually, with assistance available for lifting over 30 pounds.
  • Ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, typing, grasping, talking, hearing, occasional kneeling, crouching, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs or a ladder.
  • Ability to work in time-sensitive situations with quick resolution.

This is a full-time position with benefits and pays on an hourly basis between $33.37 - $49.98 based on a 35-hour work week plus overtime.
