Salary: $65-75K plus bonus

Job Summary of the On-Site Maintenance Engineer: We are seeking an independent and customer-oriented individual for the position of On-Site Maintenance Engineer. This role involves assembling, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing systems both domestically and internationally. The On-Site Maintenance Engineer will also collaborate with the Engineering team to provide recommendations for product improvement. Excellent communication skills and the ability to write technical reports are crucial for this role.

Qualifications of the On-Site Maintenance Engineer:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a maintenance role requiring autonomous decision-making
  • Certificate or degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
  • Availability to travel 70% of the time, both domestically and internationally
  • Proficiency in writing trip reports, test reports, and other technical documentation
  • Highly knowledgeable in PLC's
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics for troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record
  • Fearless when working at heights

· Strong experience with PLCs, VFDs, data acquisition, wiring, and industrial electricity. Experience with Siemens, ABB, and TMEiC platforms is preferred.

· Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport for international travel

Responsibilities of the On-Site Maintenance Engineer:

· Regular interaction with customers, vendors, and contractors

· Schedule and coordinate the participation of stakeholders for equipment installation and commissioning

· Promptly address customer inquiries by effectively coordinating internally

· Perform troubleshooting and repair of PLCs, VFDs, and other automated equipment both on-site and remotely

· Conduct inspections of existing system installations

· Ensure the proper implementation of pre-commissioning activities and generate high-quality reports

· Travel to customer sites for final commissioning and demonstration of equipment functions

· Assist the project team in clearing punch list items and meeting project requirements

· Attend project and construction meetings as necessary

· Provide technical training to end-user operators and maintenance personnel

· Act as the primary troubleshooter for on-site technical issues and subsequent queries

· Independently coordinate all details of site visits with customers

· Coordinate all travel arrangements (airfare, lodging, transportation) independently

· Provide direct technical support to customers, contractors, sales, and engineering during testing and field service activities
