You require -

  • Occasional overnight stays, yet you may be urgently requested to visit clients if their equipment malfunctions and affects their production
  • Familiarity with electrical components, ability to interpret schematics, and basic troubleshooting skills
  • Capability to install software and perform basic configurations, including confirming IP addresses for remote equipment diagnosis
  • Basic exposure to PLC controllers and Camera Inspection equipment, programming is not mandatory, but understanding their internal functioning is necessary
  • Confidence in making decisions in front of clients to resolve issues and restore equipment functionality
They offer on-site training programs to enhance your current knowledge and experience, along with daily support from the Service Manager and other technicians in the field.

As part of your role, you will provide service via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions to clients with equipment under service contracts.

Your responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and documenting equipment repairs. You must remain calm under pressure, work independently, and exhibit resourcefulness in on-site troubleshooting and repairs. Additionally, you may be required to train clients, relocate, install, and repair equipment, as well as instruct operators on basic usage and maintenance.

You will receive extensive training on their product and processes. After gaining fundamental field knowledge, the final stage of training may require time at the company headquarters. The equipment consists of electro mechanical printing devices used to produce high-quality commercial-grade materials in large quantities.
