Salary: $65-75K plus bonus

Job Summary:

We are seeking a self-motivated Field Service Technician with excellent customer service skills, technical writing abilities, and the capability to provide suggestions for product improvements to the Product Development Group. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for independently assembling, commissioning, inspecting, repairing, and troubleshooting systems both domestically and internationally.


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Field Service role with decision-making responsibilities
  • Certificate or degree in Electronics or Electricals
  • Ability to travel 70% of the time (domestic and international)
  • Proficient in writing trip reports, return material authorizations, test reports, and corrective action reports
  • Knowledge of PLCs highly preferred
  • Ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot systems using electrical schematics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a Windows environment
  • Clean driving record
  • Comfortable with working at heights


- Regular communication with customers, vendors, and contractors

- Schedule and coordinate the participation of relevant parties for site inspections and start-up activities

- Ensure timely response to customer inquiries by coordinating internally

- Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and other automated equipment both on-site and remotely

- Repair equipment at customer facilities, handling both warranty and non-warranty claims

- Conduct routine inspections of existing system installations

- Ensure proper implementation of pre-commissioning activities and prepare quality reports

- Travel to customer sites for final commissioning and equipment demonstration

- Support project teams in clearing punch list items and meeting project requirements

- Attend project and construction meetings as necessary

- Provide technical training to end-user operators and maintenance personnel

- On-site troubleshooting and fault elimination in the event of technical issues

- Independently coordinate site visits and travel arrangements

- Provide direct technical support to customers, contractors, sales, and engineering
