On-Site Equipment Specialist
Requirements:
- Occasional overnight stays may be required for prompt client visits to resolve equipment downtime and production impact.
- Familiarity with electrical components, ability to read schematics, and basic troubleshooting skills are essential.
- Installation of software and basic configuration, including confirming IP addresses for remote equipment diagnosis.
- Basic exposure to PLC controllers and Camera Inspection equipment, understanding their integration into equipment is necessary (programming skills not required).
- Confidence in making decisions, effectively resolving client issues and restoring equipment functionality.
This role involves providing service via phone, email, and in-person to clients with equipment under service contracts.
Your responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and documenting equipment repairs. You must remain calm under pressure, work independently, and demonstrate resourcefulness in site troubleshooting and repairs. You may also be involved in training clients, relocating, installing, and repairing equipment, as well as instructing operators on basic use and maintenance.
We offer comprehensive training on our products and processes after a period of field experience and basic knowledge acquisition. Additional training may require time at our headquarters. Our equipment is electro-mechanical printing machines used to produce high-quality commercial volume.
