Food Sales Representative
Remote Position in Las Vegas, NV, and surrounding areas (CA, NV, AZ).
We are a supplier of over 40 premium, all-natural sweet and savory flavors, purees, concentrates, and blends. Our products are distributed to foodservice, hospitality, manufacturers, and consumers through distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and expand the distributor network in the CA, NV, and AZ territory.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue with distributor accounts.
- Discover new business prospects within the territory using various resources and tools, such as sales reporting, online research, and event leads.
- Utilize Salesforce to document all customer interactions.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales to review monthly, quarterly, and annual sales results and contribute to territory budget planning.
- Develop communication strategies to address operational support needs.
- Manage and support regional manufacturer leads.
- Oversee the West Sales Account Manager.
- Approximately 50% travel required, with convenient access to airports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales to foodservice distributors.
- Strong skills in sales and account management.
- Effective negotiator with excellent organizational, time management, and project management abilities.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work within approved budgets.
- Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce.com or similar).
- Proficiency in MS Suite.
