Our fast-growing food manufacturing company is currently seeking a dedicated Food Plant Capital Projects Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team on a full-time and permanent basis. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
- Assessing and optimizing our food manufacturing processes
- Managing the entire life cycle of food manufacturing projects
- Evaluating and engineering our food manufacturing facilities
- Designing new food manufacturing lines and improving existing ones
- Collaborating and negotiating with vendors to integrate new equipment into our current setup and/or acquire new equipment for upcoming manufacturing lines
- Identifying and resolving engineering and maintenance needs, as well as troubleshooting recurring breakdowns or yield losses in our manufacturing lines
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a proven track record in food factory capital projects, including documented resolutions and quantifiable results. The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:
- A four-year engineering degree
- Minimum of three years of experience in process engineering on an FDA-compliant manufacturing line
- Minimum of three years of experience leading large-scale capital projects in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of three years of experience in manufacturing project management
- Strong work history
- Must be a US citizen or green card holder
- Reside within a 45-minute drive of the Brookfield, Wisconsin area
