Electrical Forensic Analyst
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Forensic Analyst to join our client's team in Atlanta, Georgia.
Position Details
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting and overseeing investigations and evaluations related to machinery and equipment. This includes examining and assessing mechanical equipment, systems, and components, conducting root cause failure analysis, evaluating mechanical, corrosion, and metallurgical properties, and analyzing repair and replacement costs for damaged facilities and equipment. Additionally, you will collaborate with clients and other consultants, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prepare comprehensive written reports summarizing your findings.
Technical Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in a Southeast State or be able to obtain licensure within 6 months
- Experience with Solar Power Systems is highly desirable
- 3+ years of experience in Forensic Investigation and Reporting is a strong advantage
- Experience in giving legal depositions and serving as an expert witness is highly preferred
- Advanced Technical Education degrees are considered advantageous
- Proficiency in computer software such as MathCAD, AutoCAD, and MS Office
- Industrial, manufacturing, or design experience is beneficial
