Solar Power Electrical Investigator

We are currently hiring for the position of Solar Power Electrical Investigator in St Louis, Missouri, or a nearby state.
Position Details
As an Electrical Engineer, your main responsibilities will include conducting and overseeing investigations and assessments related to machinery and equipment. This will involve examining and evaluating mechanical equipment and components, performing root cause failure analyses, assessing mechanical, corrosion, and metallurgical properties, and analyzing the costs of repairing or replacing damaged facilities and equipment. Additionally, you will collaborate with clients and other consultants, manage multiple unique projects, and produce written reports summarizing your findings and analyses.
Technical Qualifications:
- Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Must be a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Missouri or a nearby state, or have the ability to obtain this license within 6 months
- Experience with Solar Power Systems is highly advantageous
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Forensic Investigation and Reporting is a strong plus
- Prior experience giving legal depositions and acting as an Expert Witness is highly advantageous
- Advanced Technical Education degrees are desirable
- Proficiency in computer software such as MathCAD, AutoCAD, and MS Office
- Prior experience in Industrial/Manufacturing/Design is preferred
- Availability to travel up to 30% of the time
