What we are seeking:
• A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field is required. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
• 3-5 years of previous experience in foundation work or managing donor relationships, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• 5-7 years of experience in a fundraising environment, with preference given to candidates with healthcare fundraising experience.
Hours and compensation:
• This position is full-time.
• Salaries range from $100,000 to $125,000, depending on experience.
• We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation assistance.
Responsibilities:
• As the Foundation Director, you will provide leadership in developing, directing, and executing all activities for the Healthcare Foundation. This includes fundraising, donor relations, managing relationships with the foundation board and committees, and engaging the community through outreach efforts.
• This role is crucial in supporting the advancement of programs and services offered by the Hospital District, as well as inspiring individuals to contribute to exceptional healthcare for the region.
• The Foundation Director also provides strategic leadership to the Foundation Board of Directors and Committees, cultivating financial and community support for the Foundation's mission.
• You will oversee the Foundation Specialist and Development Assistant (shared support between Foundation and Marketing), as well as any project subcontractors.

• This position reports to the Chief Development & Communications Officer and works closely with the Chief Executive Officer.
