JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
We are seeking an Executive Director to join our team. In this strategic leadership role within the Operations Team, you will be responsible for managing internal projects to enhance our processes, tools, and infrastructure. You will align these initiatives with our long-term strategic plans and ensure operational excellence. Additionally, you will oversee facilities planning and decision-making. This role requires a combination of engineering, business, and leadership skills to drive technical excellence, financial responsibility, and customer satisfaction. Essential Functions
Primary:
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations to develop and execute strategic plans, budgets, and other planning activities
- Provide leadership and direction for:
- Production, including continuous improvement initiatives and supply chain management
- Operations, including internal and external communication, branding, and infrastructure development
- Optimize resource levels to ensure operational efficiency
- Review, develop, and implement policies and strategies to drive continuous improvement
- Facilitate companywide communication about operational priorities, updates, and planning
- Lead facilities projects including seating and office moves, maintenance, and repair
- Advise the executive leadership team on trends, issues, and activities to enhance strategic plans and operational performance
- Establish and track key organizational performance metrics
- Participate in committees, training events, and special projects to stay updated on organizational policies and culture
- Perform any other assigned duties
Supervisory Responsibility
This position may involve supervising at least one direct report.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with an expected minimum of 40 hours per week. Office hours are typically Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, but may vary based on workload and management discretion. The position may require more than 40 hours per week as needed.
Travel
Minimal travel may be required for this position.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
- Residency in Colorado
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technical discipline and relevant technical leadership experience
- Proven ability to contribute to multidisciplinary engineering projects
- Prior success in a leadership role within operations
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master's degree in business administration, engineering management, or a related field
- Experience in an AS9100 environment
- Experience with ERP transitions
