Glass Installation Cost Analyst

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
o Establish and maintain strong, trustworthy relationships with esteemed customers, architects, and suppliers, ensuring exceptional treatment and respect at all times
o Analyze bid requests and requirements
o Utilize Customer websites to locate and access plans and specifications
o Determine necessary Union affiliation, insurance, bonding, warranties, and safety obligations
o Generate thorough requests for additional information (RFIs) regarding all project aspects
o Assess project funding, competitors, and suitability
o Conduct on-site visits, assess installation logistics, and attend pre-construction meetings
o Calculate material quantities; consult with the superintendent regarding installation complexities
o Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors, including all project details in the quote (e.g., extended warranties); review quotes for accuracy
o Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and customers
o Collaborate with CAD manager to estimate shop drawings
o Establish project schedules and determine durations for our scope of work
o Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and present them to clients as required
o Engage in follow-up phone calls and visits
