Assistant Grain Operations Supervisor

Location: Clarks, NE

Please Note: This role requires presence at the Clarks, NE facility five days a week.

Please Note: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in grain facility or grain elevator operations. Candidates not meeting this requirement should refrain from setting up a call, as it will be canceled.

Job Description

  • Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily operations at the grain elevator
  • Supervise and coordinate tasks for facility staff and seasonal workers
  • Support with scheduling, logistics, and inventory management
  • Monitor grain storage, handling, and quality control processes
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Participate in maintenance planning and equipment inspections
  • Engage with farmers, vendors, and transport providers
  • Maintain records and assist with reporting responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in grain elevator or grain facility operations
  • Preferably 7+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Familiarity with grain handling equipment and safety standards
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable in hands-on tasks
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Valid driver’s license
