Join our client’s team as a Group Employee Benefits Sales Representative in the vibrant city of Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving expansion and growth in the employee benefits sector. As part of our client’s long-term growth strategy in employee benefits, you will be responsible for managing and developing a specified geographic territory. Your main objective will be to build strong business relationships with brokers and other influential figures, in order to increase the distribution of our client’s employee benefits products and services.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining key broker relationships
  • Building and maintaining a strong presence in the assigned territory to elevate the brand
  • Generating a meaningful pipeline
  • Securing employee benefit business closures
  • Generating and managing new opportunities from prospect to closure
  • Achieving activity and revenue targets
  • Conducting sales and product seminars when required
  • Managing the assigned territory to meet selling objectives
  • Utilizing data effectively to expand market presence and increase sales production
  • Developing a strategic plan to achieve case activity targets consistent with core strategy

Job Requirements

  • Established broker relationships with experience in LTD, STD, and Group Life
  • Achieved satisfactory sales results and client product submissions within the assigned territory
  • Exceptional skill in developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external clients
  • Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with a collaborative approach
  • Advanced ability to develop and execute strategies and business plans
  • Outstanding presentation and consultative selling skills
  • Able to travel up to 50% to meet with targeted prospects
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Life and Health license
  • Minimum of two to four years of experience in employee benefit sales
