As part of our client’s long-term financial growth strategy in Employee Benefits, you will be responsible for developing and managing a specific geographic territory. In this role, you will establish meaningful business relationships with brokers and other influential figures to enhance the distribution of Employee Benefits products and services.
Your main responsibility will be driving and overseeing sales activities in the Missouri territory.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain key relationships with brokers
Build brand visibility in the assigned territory
Develop a substantial pipeline
Close Employee Benefit deals
Generate new opportunities and guide them from prospect to closure
Achieve activity and revenue targets
Conduct sales and product seminars as required
Manage the assigned territory to meet selling objectives
Effectively utilize Group Market Share, MiEdge, and Salesforce data to increase market presence and sales production
Develop a plan to achieve case activity targets aligned with the core strategy
Job Requirements
Established broker relationships with experience in LTD, STD, and Group Life
Produce satisfactory sales results and client product submissions within the assigned territory
Exceptional skills in developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external clients
Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with a collaborative approach
Advanced ability to develop strategies and business plans and deliver on established objectives
Outstanding presentation and consultative selling skills
Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet with potential prospects
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Life and Health license
Minimum of two to four years of Employment Benefit Sales experience
