Clinical Operations Director
Our client is a highly regarded medical organization that specializes in Orthopedic and Physical Therapy services. With over 60 locations spanning across Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia, they are one of the largest physician-owned practices in the country.
We are currently seeking a Clinical Operations Director to oversee our healthcare practice in Washington, D.C. This pivotal role requires a hands-on and detail-oriented individual who will act as the "CEO" of the division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the practice, ensuring efficient revenue cycle management, supervising staff, and supporting the growth and development of our physicians. Working closely with our physician leadership, the Clinical Operations Director will plan, direct, and coordinate all division activities, as well as address any issues that may arise.
This position is based onsite in Washington, D.C.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the practice.
- Oversee and coordinate daily operations, including scheduling and workflows.
- Provide executive support to the physician group to achieve operational and financial objectives.
- Manage financial matters to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including staff credentialing, adherence to Medicare regulations, and payer regulations.
- Promote a positive work environment for providers and staff through organizational support.
- Direct, monitor, and evaluate all practice activities to ensure high-quality medical care for each patient.
- Provide guidance and evaluation for all staff, both clinical and administrative.
- Address issues related to staffing, facility utilization, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
- Document processes and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business administration is preferred, and a Master's degree is highly desirable.
- At least 10 years of experience in practice administration and management within a similar environment.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience with implementing Digital Marketing Outreach programs.
- Previous management experience in a large Orthopedic, Medical, or Surgical practice is preferred.
