We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Technician to join our team at a successful Civil Company (Dirt Work) in Central South Carolina. This role will involve working at our corporate mechanics shop and performing repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment in the field.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY

In this role, you will perform diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a variety of vehicles, including dozers, graders, skid steers, loaders, excavators, and other support equipment. Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu, and John Deere equipment is highly preferred.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE NEEDS THE FOLLOWING KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

· Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic handling repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment used in construction

· Ability to request/order parts as needed

· Experience working on site and in the field at job sites

· Ability to perform repairs on systems such as engines, transmissions, final drives, brakes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems

· Record and report usage of all components, parts, and resources on daily paperwork

· Valid SC Driver's License and good driving record

· Ability to operate all types of equipment safely and responsibly
