What we're seeking:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. Must hold a Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience as an RN in home health.

Hours and compensation:
  • This position primarily involves Monday to Friday day shifts.
  • Salary range is $76,000 to $90,000, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes relocation assistance up to $5,000 and a sign-on bonus (either $5,000 for a 1-year commitment or $10,000 for a 2-year commitment).

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and oversee clinical operations of home health services, with direct supervision from the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
  • Ensure all staff, including nurses, therapists, social workers, and home health aides, adhere to applicable laws, regulations, company philosophy, policies, and service standards.
  • Foster strong relationships with the community, professional organizations, and key influencers to support organizational goals.
  • Select, schedule, and assign staff, adjusting hours and shifts as needed.
  • Orient new staff and ensure training and educational needs are met.
  • Coordinate agency activities and assign work to staff members.
  • Evaluate agency activities to ensure quality patient care, staff relations, service efficiency, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate agency policies, goals, and objectives.
  • Participate in infection control, utilization review, and quality assessment activities.
  • Monitor cleanliness and address any issues.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints, or escalate problems to a supervisor when necessary.
  • Monitor budget performance to ensure satisfactory levels and quality output.

Additional information:

We are a nonprofit acute care hospital with less than 100 beds, located west of Wichita. Our facility offers a great work environment. This position reports to the CNO and oversees around 6 individuals.
