Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree
-Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
-Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
-2 years of previous experience managing radiology in a hospital setting.
Working hours and compensation:
-This position is for the day shift.
-Salary range: $73,000 to $105,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits and relocation/sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities:
-The Imaging/Respiratory Therapy Manager will strategically plan, administer, and oversee the operations of the Imaging and Respiratory Therapy department programs. They will also supervise and coordinate activities of Imaging and Respiratory Therapy staff.
-Ensure completion of assignments and maintain high-quality patient care.
-Recruit, train, discipline, and evaluate staff; ensure timely completion of performance appraisals.
-Supervise personnel by implementing effective performance management, selecting and training qualified staff, and maintaining strong communication.
-Oversee daily workflow in the departments and develop and implement effective policies and procedures consistent with medical center policies.
-Actively participate in Quality/Performance Improvement (QI/PI) programs, make decisions based on trends and needs, and seek staff input. Establish and utilize appropriate tools to achieve QI/PI goals.
-Contribute to the formation and ongoing monitoring of the annual budget.
-Participate in the evaluation of potential purchases of new equipment.
-Take part in the hiring, evaluation, and discipline of employees.
-Serve on committees/task forces as needed.
-Consult with the Imaging Medical Director to implement new procedures.
Additional Information:
The facility is a critical access hospital with 25 beds.
